This is the second time we've seen files come in in this PRCTool format The last time it was just short hand for the function and complement for a nec1 signal, this time it is totally different, Probably some weird implementation of XMP although with PACE you never know.

~Anybody have any documentation on the PRCTool file format?

~lefdata, did you triy this upgrade?

Vicky,
I think you are correct and this is XMP-1 67.17 with the same OBC as the bin file that you linked.

It looks to me like 0261 is a code that represents XMP. The following data is the usual XMP data, except that each group of eight digits is written backwards, and leading zeros are suppressed. So the 1 button looks like
3444F101 1010D1 3444E101 101851
3444F101 001010D1 3444E101 00101851 Add leading zeros
101F4443 1D010100 101F4443 15810100 Reverse digits in each group of 8

Code: Select all

  1 0 1 F 44 43
S:4:4 C1 S:4 OEM D So 0x43.0x11 is 67.17

  1 D 0 1 0100
S:4:4 C2 T S:4 F So OBC1 = 01, OBC2 =00

I would like to thank you for your fast reply.
I have not test the file pace novabox i will downloaded and check it out in a couple of days and let you know about.

For the prctool i don have any documentation at all about how structuring the data, but i can give you a link of the software (and additional database has been implemented in greece) This software is very familiar in the greek market and defiantly is very easy to create a remote control file if you have the original remote (based on a usb ir reader directly on your pc.

Morning all :D Yes, absolutely right, XMP-1 67.17

I've built a Custom Remote at https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=12492

And 'lefdata', assuming you have it connected there is no need to wait, configuring inputs can be done from a remote location.

Cheers

The file is working perfectly.

The stb was not connected on the slingbox. That was the reason of the "wait to be tested".

Thanks for your support.

Thanks again
