need the bin file for uniden DTH310R (Japan's tunner)

Post by ykchiang »

Dear everybody.

I need the bin file for uniden DTH310R (http://www.uniden.jp/products/digitaltuner/dth310r.html), my slingbox's type is classic.
And the brand name is not listed in the models list within the sling box setup assistant .

then, I read the article like https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewt ... 389a8d7f93
and i try to use the rmdu ( https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=11886 ) to generate bin file, but in vain, do not work in my slingbox, could anyone help me to solve it.

Many Thanks.

I'll leave this one for Vicky for now as this device still hasn't appeared on the Logitech Harmony IR database.

Could be either, although I 'think' the Japanese boxes came from the US so it would be PL.

For ykchaing: if you are not familiar with installing Custom Remotes, instructions are at http://placeshiftingenthusiasts.com/for ... -350500-1/

Thanks to the help of vickyg2003 and alanrichey.
I bought this slingbox in Taiwan.

It could be uploaded by the file of C2000_RV.bin. and I press the any button in the remote panel. it has responded, but does not work.

it show the message like "remote code are not match, please press menu button then press 2 button"

as show in the following image

Interesting, never heard of that before. What happens if you press the Menu button and then the 2 button ? It might re-program the STB to accept the code ?.

I am not near this machine, therefore, i cannot use the real remote to do the function (press menu then press 2).

Why press 2 before Menu ? I thought you said the message was to press the Menu then '2' ?

Yes, your right, press the menu (still press), then press 2.
but I don't know how to do that.

I cannot press the menu without unpress to do the next function. In other words, I cannot press two button at the same time :(
This virutal remote panel looks cannot do that, like the real remote.

OK, didn't realise that is what you meant. As you say, you cannot press 2 buttons at once on the virtual remote.

No more ideas I'm afraid

Just wanted to report that the bin file that vicky created worked fine on my uniden dth-310r as I tested it.

I am not sure if uniden dth310r has any kinds of a/b remote mode.
For some tuners have that just that one who has two same tuners in the same place can remote control his tuners without any trouble.

Thanks for that, looks as though there are multliple addresses and you use the Menu/2 combination to set them.

Hi
Is it possible to make menu and 2 button in one key?
The special one key's ir code start menu's ir code then 2's ir code (the time between menu and 2 is very short).

thank you
