Why haven't you tried it ?

I could not find the HDC-2210, but the Logitech database offered the DSB-790 as a possible. That uses the same codes as the Erastar ER-300. There is a Custom Remote for that box at https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=8110

Any good ?

OK, that's a good start.

Do the same test with the BIN file I just posted at https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=12279

Make sure you test EVERY button, including the 15 Custom Remote buttons you get when you right-click on the image and select Custom.

Once I have those results we should be close.

digit 6 -> pause
digit 7 -> audio settings
digit 8 -> ? black screen without sound, no other message - pushing again video&sound coming back
digit 9 -> digit 4
digit 0 -> EPG

that's all, others are not working, looks like do nothing

That's a bit disappointing, we are missing quite a few I would have expected to find. Maybe we might get better results using the Echolite CDVB-5668 ?

Can you do the same test using that remote ?

of course...
i just need to reset the settopbox
after the last testing something went wrong
and i've got only black screen with |noise| sound only
and no any menu or other else coming up
so, i must wait for my friend to get home and reset the echolite (and/or the slingbox)

when i done, i'll reply again

OK. I am slightly concerned that during all these tests you have never found a code for the Up/Down/Left/Right arrows. I hope you are putting the device into an appropriate screen (Menu, Guide..) where these keys would be recognised ?

Next test file at https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=12280

I'm beginning to get the impression we are getting random results here. So we may be wasting our time.

OR, maybe the arrow buttons are combined with the CH+/- and Vol+/- codes ? What happens in a Menu/Guide if you use the Ch+/- buttons ?

https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=12279 is the next set of codes. There are 255 possible one. The first 2011 took us to Code 80, this one takes us to Cod 120.

Meanwhile, https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=12280 is what we have so far, so might be usable.
