RGB Remote Control Problem

Post by skar_01 »

Hello there!
I'm very new to this forum, I hope I posted in the right thread.

A friend of mine lost the little remote control for my LED Controller Image

I have to use it this Saturday, and after reasearching the internet, i found a website, where they reverse engineered the remote control and have some information about each buttons HEX code and the remotes protocol (http://blog.allgaiershops.com/2012/05/1 ... ed-remote/)

Is it possible to, somehow, send out these codes, using a home-made IR transmitter with my laptops audio output?
If the answer is yes, how can I convert the HEX codes to WAVE files?
I tried IrMaster, I've selected the Protocol as "nec1" (in the link above, they say, it's a NEC protocol remote, so i thought, that's the one to use), but after that, I don't know where to input the HEX numbers.
I don't really know what to put in the Device, Subdevice and OBC textboxes.

Thank you for reading this, and a million thanks if you can help me out with this!

Ouch, I've been diligently decoding the pictures, and trying to figure out the matrix, when I see you already had great advice from 3FG in this thread

A million thanks for trying to decode the codes!
Yes, well, I totally forgot that I posted in this forums yesterday(it was really, really late in Romanian time :D )

I can't wait to try it out, and I really hope it works. :)
