hi, is it possible to create wave file from Pronto hex codes like we have this Pronto hex
Pronto code = 0000 006d 0022 0002 0154 00ab 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003f 0016 003f 0016 05e8 0154 0055 0016 0e3f

achin, we are talking about a different kind of wav file. You are talking about a WAV file to send a signal. We are talking about a WAV file to overwrite the EEPROM in a remote. Big difference! But the answer to your question is yes we can.

Kristi, its highly unusual that the Power button would change, but perhaps we can work through all the possible signals that go with a Humax4 7.32 phase signal. Do any of the other keys do anything?

how can we create the wave file and i will explain bit more my issue
I am working on universal remote , now I have to convert the pronto hex code to .wave file and i have read the file format of the wave from this link https://ccrma.stanford.edu/courses/422/ ... aveFormat/
I have been unable to convert one pronto code to .wav file for any device I have, although I know my IR transmitter works as after hours of looking for LG .wav files I found a file called service-ok-ok.wav from this link http://chomikuj.pl/adam18021964/LG+450U ... 2c/LED-Wav. This file allows me to get into the service menu of my TV.... but this is all I can do as I do not know how to create a wave file.
my transmitter is just 2 IR LEDs on a 3.5mm audio jack which I am going to plug into my phone's 3.5 mm jack and then i play the wave file to send the signal to TV.here is my transmitter device http://rtfms.com/episode-4-turn-your-ip ... htm#source , you can see the picture of 2 IR LEDs on a 3.5mm audio jack.

Hi achin, I split out your topic from Kristy's code search thread, because it didn't belong there.

When I answered you before, I was thinking of the autosave WAV file that we can do from IRScope. That unfortunately does not work from a Pronto hex, only from a fresh capture with a Widget.

Of course nobody is supplying the Widget anymore. Pity. You can still make your own Widget from technical information posted on the intenet, if you are that kind of person. Sure wish I could do it.

Anyway before you go to those lengths of making your own widget, I made an IRScope style WAV file from the pronto hex you provided. If I remember correctly, this WAV file is designed to be used with the IRToy.
https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=12074

Give this a try and let us know how if it works. If you only need one device, perhaps someone here will make a set of WAVs for you, if these work.

Like I said, I was mistaken about IRScope being able to convert pronto hex into the WAV. When you "Import" Pronto Hex into iIRScope, it doesn't do an autosave. It only does the autosave with a fresh learn through an IR Widget.

Did the test WAV file I posted work for you?

but anyways i will send you my sansui TV Pronto hex code and please can you create the wave file for below from IRScope just for testing

the wave file i am going to play on my phone and my transmitter which is going generates the signal when i play that wave file in-front of my TV.
and I'll explained bit more. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... FMqjknLn8o see this video

and i have sansui TV as you can see in this video he is getting the IR code just pressing the button of remote in-front of the arduino hardware, and i am using the same thing to detect the IR code for remote e.g., when i press my sansui TV Power button infront of the device i am getting this code 40BF48B7 and from this code i am converting this 40BF48B7 remote code to pronto hex code using IrMaster. here is my thread on remotecentral.com http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/mb ... ad.cgi?196

Acin, opening lots of threads is going to delay your finding help. There are only a handful of people that can help you with your quest for an answer. I am deleting your bumping of another 8910 Wav file post, because again, that is not the kind of wav file that you are looking for.

Well I would do that, but I that is for a signal Nec1 64 OBC 183,

I thought you wanted 40BF48B7
Which is a Nec1 Device 2 OBC 18.

That is a known Sansui TV code in the JP1 world. That corresponds to TV/1412.

I don't know how to use IRMaster, its above me intellectually, but I do know that
0000 006C 0022 0002 015B 00AD 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 0016 0016 0041 0016 0016 0016 05F7 015B 0057 0016 0E6C
is NOT 40BF48B7!!!!

You do know that Nec protocols are LSB right? Least Significant Bit first.
40 = Device 2
4B = OBC 18

Sorry for shouting, I was frustrated.

I made the WAV I think you need, Nec1 Device 2 OBC 18. As I said earlier, this is a known Sansui TV Power code. And it matches 40BF48B7.

https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=12074

Give this a try.

Vicky,
Achin first started posting at RemoteCentral in two threads which both Barf and I participated in.
http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/mb ... ad.cgi?196
http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/mb ... ad.cgi?266

He's getting his decodes using software written by Shirrif (I think). See posts #7,8, and 9 of the first link, which show where some of the possible decodes come from. Barf has gone to considerable effort to try to help achin. I have given up.

Hi 3FG,
When I saw how many thread fragments there were when I read his initial post here, I vowed to stay out of it. But then he entered my active Humax wav thread. . . . .

I just read your responses to him. I see that he already got the Device, OBC information from you too, but didn't listen to you either. Kind of makes me feel better. He's ignoring all the advice, not just mine.
