"AZBox Premium PLUS + HD” Help please!!!!

Post by galosat »

Hello guys!

I have a slingbox 350 and I bought a satellite receiver “AZBox Premium PLUS + HD” and I can’t seem to find a file that works.
I’ve tried about four 6x different files ".bin” that I found on the forums but none of them work.
The sattellite box is in Brazil and I live here in the US so it’s hard for me to actually make a file myself.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Serious no scam.
Please let me know

Edit!
Just FYI I've tried all the files related to azbox on the download section and none worked.

I've analysed the IR codes for this box and can confirm it is identical to the codes used by the Azbox Premium HD and the Custom Remote for that is at https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=7334

So I guess you have a different problem. What about the suggestions in the Readme file ?

I think the poster is probably making a mistake,BUT could someone post an ICT with one signal, just to make sure there isn't a protocol problem.

Galosat, could you see if there is any model number on the back or bottom of the unit.

I meant the suggestions in the instructions, i.e. error messages, external blaster, location.....

Sorry, not sure what you mean here. What mistake ? And I don't think an ICT file would help, I am sure all the Azbox Premium models use the same code, NEC1 206:95.

Oh, I meant not following the instructions, not checking the IR blasters, not placing them properly, the typical slingbox users problems.

Actually it might. I have encountered a couple of situations where a manufacturer changes the frequency of the NEC signal, between one model and another. Sometimes everything looks good when you look at the decode panel, but the graphical form tells another story. I just wanted to see a single button press in an ICT file, to make sure that the signal doesn't have odd timing values or frequency that might hinder the boxes recognition of the signal. It is definitely a long shot, but it has happened here before.

Hopefully galosat will take a good look at the labels on the box to see if there might be a model number or any other pertinent information that might give a clue as to what other upgrades might work.
Remember to provide feedback to let us know how the problem was solved and share your upgrades.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

If any manufacturer is going to do that it will be Humax :D

By same result, I mean a perfect match with the same file as you did. I agree that problem is likely elsewhere, not the file.

Tried this file and it did not work.
I downloaded it, unzipped it and tried the .PL and the .Bin files.
none worked.

I will keep my word and paypal $40 bucks to the first person who can help me. When I get home I will post a picture of the bottom of the Az box Premium HD Plus

Thank you for your help so far.

I have asked this before and you still aren't reading the instructions. What am I supposed to do when the instructions specifically state: "..If you have problems do NOT just report that it 'doesn't work', that is totally useless for someone trying to understand what is going on. So report the following:...." and you answer that ?

Do I give up on you as a lost cause ? :D
