Is it possible that a URC-8811 is not compatible with FTDI USB FT232 adaptor ?
Does anyone have pinout to connect my FTDI USB adaptor (red, blue, yel, white, green, black) to my remote URC-8811 ?
Thanks |

The 8811 is not a JP1.3 remote. It is a JP1 remote and is therefore not compatible with any RS232 interface. You'll have to by an additional JP1 EEPROM adapter if you want to use your cable or get a different cable altogether. |

Ok, I understand a reason !
On my PC I don't have a LPT port, so , I'm obligate to go to my friend each time that I need to modify settin on my 8811 !
Where can I find details to build or buy this JP1 adaptor ?
Maybe that I can buy an (USB to LPT) adapter and use my old JP1 adaptor ! |
