Re: Slingbox Pro HD remote for TM Single OE
This one was tucked away in the archives. This is an unproven upgrade. It was created but never given a final okay by the enduser. Did you happen to try this? It is a different signal than the other technomate upgrades and worth checking out while you wait for alan.corkgirl wrote:12. Have tried all avilable bin files on JP1 for Technomate

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Morning both
Unfortunately I'm not sure i can help. As Vicky said, the TWIN OE is in the Harmony database, but you seem to have cracked that one. There is no sign of a Single OE and if I try that the database just recommends the Twin OE.
And looking at my records I have built 8 Technomate Custom Remotes and there are no common signals between them, all different. So that doesn't give us a clue.
Sorry

Sorry for slow response.
I am trying various makes and models , also when setting up the Slingbox the setup assistant offered 593 remote codes and yes for my sins I did try every single one. I have checked the IR emitters / blasters thru a camera and all working fine.
But one thing I havent tried is just using the RV.bin file as I am across the pond in Ireland and I purchased the Pro HD in the UK, so I am going to try the Twin OE again , only this time with the RV file { pal} and I will report back.
With regard to a URC , I have not checked yet, but if the above fails I will try that out.
Thanks again to Vicky and Al

Could you contact Technomate and ask them for it timing data? Sometimes manufactures will give you pronto hex or other documents that can be read by ir experts. If we know what signals .

Contact support and tell them that you are trying to get information to program your slingbox remote.
You need the remotes infrared timing data for their TM single oe. Tell them you can work with
pronto hex,
a lirc file,
Or any timing data with a hex or binary representation of the commands.
Many enlightened manufacturers will give you the information. Others will simply ignore your request. It can't hurt to ask.
