need help with URC 7530

hi I have a URC 7530 that I want to program with IR, I get a no remote found message, and interface no found , after doing some reading on the forum, I have realised that this remote needs and 1k eeprom and c11

i need some help in getting this remote ready for programming, the user uploaded his picture but the soldering it is unclear to me.

i have a usb to tll like this one, the COM appears, the driver is installed, but get interface not found

can use it for programming a JP1 remote, should i solder the 6 pin on the board first

this is what learned from the forum for wire connection
CP 2102 IDC-6
1 TXD ---- 4 Data-In
3 RTS_N ---- 2 /RESET
5 RXD ---- 6 Data-Out
(GRD) ---- 3 GND



last question i have another remote for dreambox hd800 it got JP1 want to programm it too,but don't know if it got eeprom on it, see my pitures , and advice me please,

It appears that these are both JP1 remotes. The Dreambox remote seems to have an installed EEPROM.

The interface you're using CP2102 will not work with JP1 remotes; it should work with JP1.2/1.3/1.4/2 remotes--in other words, any remote made in the last 5 years or more.

You'll either need to build/buy a JP1 interface or get a newer remote. In the USA, cable company remotes are cheap on eBay. For example Comcast remotes are typically available for $6 shipped. The ones with a red OK/Select button are JP1.3 or JP2 and should work with your interface.

CP2101 and CP2102 do not work. They don't allow control the the TxD line.
