Not much help I can offer then. I have just tried it on my Solo using 'Satellite' and if I use either 'Other' or 'Sky' as the Manufacturer and then scroll down the Model Numbers they both have an 'Other' option as the last item in the list.
Without watching you I have no idea what you could be doing differently.

OK, it works, thanks to this small hint you gave me.
I put the zip code and selected one of the TV broadcasters from the list.
It gave me a list of channels and asked me to confirm. I confirmed even f it was not correct.
Then another screen appeared where I could select gain the manufacturer (sky) and the model (other) and then finally put the custom remote.
I am pretty sure that this is different from what I did months ago but it works, so thank you vey much for your support.
