Sirius SRH-2000

Post by Macleod »

Hi:
Could someone help me get or program the remote codes (Bin File) for a Sirius SRH-2000 for my Slingbox. I believe there are also models made by Audiovox. It is too technical for me to try to make my own codes file.
Id even be willing to pay someone to do it for me if so!

I had a remote before Slingmedia dropped the remote control programming site and it hasn't been up since.

Have you tried the Sirius Custom Remotes in the File section ? It looks to me as though the Sirius Stiletto one should work for you.

It's just under File Section > Slingbox Binary Files

Found it! I loaded the codes and "its working"
Is there any way of making the numbers work on the remote so as to be able to enter channels independently?

If not I am happy with this!

Thanks for your help!

I can see no reason why they are not working. The codes for the numeric buttons in that remote are identical to the codes in the SRH-2000

When you go to enter the channel # it only recognizes the first digit and treats it as a preset. So pressing 21 would get you to the channel you have preset button 2.

Is there any documentation for the functions of the remote?
It would help if I knew what they are supposed to be before assuming what they are not doing.
Thanks

OK that has nothing to do with the custom remote, that has to do with how the Slingbox is setup to react to entering channels numbers. Normally during the setup process you are presented with a page that asks you how you enter channel numbers. You will have to contact Sling about that,

I am referring to the remote skin you gave me for the Sirius Stilletto. I am not sure what all the keys do or what some of the custom keys function as.

I will try your suggestion on the keystrokes with sling.
Thanks

I didn't give it you, that remote skin is the Slingbox default basic remote. And I thought all the Custom Button function were in the instructions. No ?
