Custom Remote For VIP1963 Upload Error

Dear Alanrichey/Users,

It is not possible for me to upload a custom bin file (Motorola VIP 1963) to my Slingbox Pro HD from Hong Kong. I receive the following failure: Unvalid adapted BIN file. I have received this message by all the custom BIN files, which I have tried. Is it possible for you to help me with this problem?

That message means that Slingplayer is not seeing the BIN file. So you either haven't put it in the right place or you are not typing in the correct path. But that is an old remote with out-of-date instructions so use these:

and use the PL BIN file.

Unfortunately, it is not working properly for me!
It works fine When I upload the custom bin file.
If I want to watch it the next day, I do see the remote controle,
but none of the buttons/functions working anymore and I need to upload the bin file again.
This happens for two connected devices.
Have you heard this before and how can I solve this problem by myself?

I haven't seen this before, but if it works one day and then fails later I would assume your Slingbox has a problem and is corrupting it. Try resetting it.

Hello, it is me again.
It seems like nothing is working properly. How do I reset this machine?
the reset button does not work, even when I push it in for 10, 20 or 30 sec or endlessly . It sounds a bit stupid, but do you perhaps know how I can solve this problem?

Sounds like the box is broken, pressing the reset button quickly should do a soft reset, holding it for more than 10 seconds should do a factory reset. See http://support.slingbox.com/get/KB-1000038.html
