The 2012 BIN files look at codes up to 120 and the 2013 files take us up to 175

Hey Alan, sorry for the belated response - it has been a busy week...
I'm still busy testing them - hopefully I'll find some free time this weekend.
So far, I've managed to locate REC, Aspect Ratio and Red Button:

Test 2012_PL ===> Manta
Menu ===> Aspect Ratio
< (left arrow) ===> REC
LAST ===> Red Button

I'll be Back! :D

So, I'm back. Managed to found most of the remaining buttons:

Test 2012_PL ===> Manta
< (left arrow) ===> REC
Menu ===> Yellow Button
LAST ===> Red Button
Exit ===> Green Button

Goodmans GDB18FVZS2 ===> Manta
Custom10 ===> Pause
Info ===> Blue Button

Qingdau Cable TV ===> Manta
Power ON/OFF ===> Favorite
3 ===> GoTo

I think we're done as soon as you map those in the Manta Test remote. The remaining ones are not important.
Thanks!
:)

OK, I've updated it except for the GoTo, as checking that remote requires a major logistic rewiring in my house. I can do it if you REALLY need it ?

So the best we have is at https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=11772

OK ?

Thanks Alan,
regarding the GoTo button, I don't really need to have it :wink:
Is it such a hassle because of Qingdau? If so, the same key can be found in:

Test2011_PL ===> Manta
Custom19 ===> GoTo

Test 2012_PL ===> Manta
5 ===> GoTo

As I stated earlier though, it's not a super useful key to have and we can probably ignore it anyway. :P
I'll test the updated test remote and report back. Thanks for your help!

No, I do all my learning by installing devices on my Harmony remote and use that to mimic the original remote. The Qingdau box is not available on the Logitech database so the only way I can find the code is to install it on my Slingbox and try and learn the code sent by the IR Blaster. Just a bit of a pain :-)

Link updated with that function added.

The obvious gap is Channel Up/Down, are they not on your original remote ?

It works great! Thanks!
Regarding the Channel + / i buttons - yes, the Manta Remote have those, but I couldn't get them so far but they're not useful as I can replicate the exact same function using the up and down arrow keys.
Anyway, thanks again for your help - I now have a perfectly working remote - now I only need to investigate how to get the custom keys to appear on the web interface of a Mac...

OK, I've mapped those codes to the Ch+/- buttons for completeness before I release it to the general public :D

No idea about the Mac, although I remain surprised, as in 3 years of doing this no Mac user has ever mentioned it as a problem.

It is indeed weird that no Mac user complained about it - did a quick Google search and came up with no hits. Tried Safari, Chrome & Firefox latest versions with no success. Oh well, it's not the end of the world :)
