Sorry to pester you with a trivial. I can't find an answer with searches.
I am re-doing my URC-10820 remotes after some equipment changes. Is there a NUL device code I can use to get rid of the dire warning about invalid device codes?
Thanks.
NUL device setup code?

If you have an invalid code warning, there is an error in your configuration. If it's a device you don't use, then pick the first valid code in the list. If it is a code that do you use, then your upgrade is missing or you've picked the wrong device type. If you don't care, then just ignore it or change the RDF.
I think mdavej is assuming that you've downloaded from the remote and see an invalid setup warning, or get it after you've made some changes. Some JP1 remotes will crash if an invalid setup code is uploaded to the remote. I think the URC-10820 won't crash, but just ignoring the warning is not a generally applicable practice.
Another way to get a setup code warning is to do a File\New\RemoteImage. This will typically provide setup codes of 0000 for all devices. For some devices, 0000 will probably be invalid.
Simply assigning any valid setup code will get rid of the warning. Or if you really want a null setup code, make an upgrade with a unique setup code, and don't assign any buttons. The remote won't send any signal if that setup code is invoked.
