These are all perfectly learned signals NEC1 device 6

Code: Select all

Function dev OBC
Menu	6 1
Guide 6 9
Up 6 26
Left 6 29
Right 6 31
Down 6 24
Select 6 23
Info 6 21
Exit 6 157
Have you converted these into an upgrade? Are they masked by keymoves or macros? The learns themselves are not the problem.
The signals in your IR file were learned into a 2104. Were the learns from the OEM remote or from your 8910?

OK, post your IR file for the 8910 to the Diagnosis area of the File Section. We'll probably be able to see where things have gone wrong.

In your device upgrade, the device is 6, but the subdevice is also shown as 6. The NEC protocol has evolved over time. Originally the subdevice was by definition the binary complement of the device. Later, companies started making the the subdevice completely independent of the device number. By convention, if a NEC IR protocol is listed with a device number and no subdevice number, it is the original type. That's the case with your Runco.

So in RM, either leave the subdevice field blank, or fill it with 255-6 = 249.

Thanks that worked.Only wished the Runco used the power button for on and off instead of separate buttons.
