apex DVD doesn't work

i have an old Apex 1201 dvd which uses the same codes as an Apex 1100.
i need to get it working for a while until i replace it.

i tried installing it to the 1055 and 1056 dvd buttons but nothing works on dvd on either remote.
it does work ok on my 6131.
i have no other problems with my other button assignments which include a samsung tv, vizio soundbar, motorola cable box and sonicview satellite box.

obviously i am missing something on the apex.
does anyone know what it is.

Post your IR or RMIR file so we can take a look. My GUESS is that you probably

1) didn't change the remote in the upgrade before pasting it in IR
2) didn't assign it to a button on the remote. On your 6131 you were probably prompted for the assignment because there were keymoves, but on a Atlas, you probably wouldn't need keymoves so there is no prompt and people often forget, especially at this hour)

in the device description page, it does list it as a dvd.
same on 1st page.

i will try to upload the output file over the weekend.
