Discrete codes for TCL LE55HDF3300Z 55" LED TV?

Hi,

This TV uses RCA38 device 15. I tried all 256 device codes and found no discretes. I see that some other TCL TV or combo devices use different device codes for discretes. Since I couldn't get the RCA38 Combo protocol to work on my old URC-1631 it's very time consuming to try out different device codes. Does anybody see this as a possibly fruitful search?

I'd also be curious if anybody knows of a way to force the input select into a known state. So far the best I can come up with is to press the TV button which takes you to the TV tuner and then CH DOWN takes you through the inputs (assuming you're not using the OTA tuner and you leave it on channel 2.) Eventually I will use the OTA tuner and this won't work.

If you want help getting the RCA38-combo to work, please post a copy of the RMDU file in the Diagnosis Area and maybe one of us will spot what you did wrong, or if there's a bug in the software maybe we'll spot it.
