I am using a 6131 with the Extender. I have created/modified device upgrades for some of my components:
NAD T742
ReplayTV 5040
Motorola DTC 2000
And I am usinng some built in codes for other components.
Specifically, I am using a basic Sony TV using Device Code 0000, and I want to add the discrete On and Off codes. I have read through the threads, and they talk about a 'learned' function tab in IR, but I don't see that. (I have General, Key Moves, Macros, Devices, Protocols, Raw Data).
Alternatively, I thought of downloading a device upgrade file for Sony TV's, and deleting/modifying it as necessary. But this method seems inefficient in terms of memory as all I really want to do is add the two EFC's to Phantom 1 and Phantom 2 to use in macros.
Thanks for the help.

You don't see the Learned tab because 1) you are using the extender and one of the things you loose with an extender is the ability to learn. And 2) The 6131 is not a learner.upsidedown wrote:I have read through the threads, and they talk about a 'learned' function tab in IR, but I don't see that.
