atlas 1056B03 question

Post by irv6744 »

i am using Tommy Tyler's jp1.2/1.3 usb cable and rmir beta.
i downloaded the rdf for the remote which is for signature 201009.
i updated the jp12serial.dll file

i just received a time warner 1056B03 remote and when i do the 983 blink-back i get a signature of 201091111.
the only stenciling around the 6 pin interface is for pin 1.
no reference to jp1 anything.

i cannot get rmir to download from the remote - it cannot locate any signature code at all.
i am certain my directory settings are correct to find the files.
(well - you know how that goes - i am almost certain)

any ideas how to figure this out assuming my definition files are in the right places.

thanks

I am not sure what you mean when you say you are using RMIR beta. The version that shows "2.02 Beta" in the Help/About display does not support this remote, which is JP2. You need the latest development version. Click on the Web Site link on that page for more information. The signature does blink back as 20109 (5 digits) even though the full signature is 201009 (6 digits), so you do have the right RDF.

Follow these instructions to get a version of RMIR that will work with the 1056B03.
