Hi!
I need help for my slingbox pro-hd (french)
I have checked file section and no remote for my satellite receiver
manufacturer : star sat
model : SR-1000HD
Any help would be most welcome...

Thank you for your fast feedback
I try the file you give me , and unfortunately it don't work
I use the standalone program, and the 3 step are OK but it fail the power test
so I Just ignore it.
1. Was there any error message after you typed in the Code and tapped the Power button ?
-no
2. Did you give the Power command plenty of time to react ? (I have a DVR that takes about 6-8 seconds to power up/down)

3. After completing the setup (regardless of whether the Power button worked) do any of the other buttons work ?
-no
4. Have you used a Digital Camera to confirm the IR Blaster is actually firing when you tap the Power button ? (Watch the tip of the IR Blaster thorugh the viewfinder while you tap a button. You should see a white (not red) flash)
-yes I used a digital camera (hot stuff) and a white flash appear when I use the virtual remote
5. Have you experimented with the placement of the IR Blaster ? On some devices this is critical so don't give up too quickly.

6. Are you sure the device is working correctly using the real remote ?
- yes it work with the real remote
7. If nothing works check out http://remotes.slingbox.com where you might be able to build your own remote.

Thanks for the feedback, nice to have soneone read the instructions. The bad news is that those are my only suggestions. I have gone back and rechecked and can confirm the settings and codes are definately correct for the SR-1000HD as far as my information is concerned.

i am back here to give you some news
after buying a logitech harmony and several research, i found
that my satellite receiver : starsat HD1000 , is a clone !!!
that's why my harmony remote and the file you give me don't works!!!
now i have a official box from my provider and it works great with my slingbox.
But my nmt : pop corn hour A200 still not work...
it works with my logitech harmony , but it don't work with the file : pop corn hour A100

I just installed it on my Harmony and the codes are identical to the ones for the A100 at https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=8445

So no idea why it doesn't work for you.

hello Alan
after hours of research and test I found the solution . you'r right ,the file you give me : the A100 file work but I have to use the V2010_PL.bin file for US slingbox!!!
So my slingbox is a non US ( pal ) slingbox!!!
I have no explanation ...

Doesn't Alan usually ask you to put both files (ie, the PL and the RV) into the Slingbox folder, so regardless which is the right one, your Slingbox should pick it up?

Yes To avoid exactly this situation. In fact I don't even mention what the 2 files represent so people don't just try one of them. In this case the SLingbox is a Pro-HD, which uses the PL file regardless of where it was built.

Anyway, glad it's all sorted, as I had no more ideas.
