The links Yahoo generates don't seem to work with the right-click "Save Link Target" in Mozilla (though I think they work with the similar feature in IE). They do work in Mozilla by left clicking and then using the "Save page as" command on the file menu (I think in IE that method garbles the contents). More seriously, they often stop working entirely a short time after they appear, so you need to use them quickly and directly from the Yahoo directory listing. Or you can construct a clean link as I did above from the directory URL plus the file name.
I'm using Mozilla 1.4
I can left click any of those three you say don't work and they open in a new window (I don't know why it's a new window rather than follow the link in the same window).
I have middle click configured to open in new tab and that works on all three.
Right click and save works for the second and third.
That's all a bit better than normal behavior, so maybe some of this is being satified from a cache.
If you send me your email address I can email the files to you.
I checked some more. The first one was working only because of a cache. Right click on the other two also worked only because of the cache but middle and left click on those two work non cached.
Maybe you have blocked whatever makes that left click open in a new window. Do you know how to configure middle click to open in a new tab? I find open in new tab to be the best way to access most hard to access content including these. (On a two button mouse it's control left click rather than middle click).
I still am unable to access the following device code file:
CyberHome_CH-300.txt
It is not so much an issue with me dl'ing the file,
as it is one of identifying a potential server problem.
I have narrowed my dl problem to only files beginning with http://f4.
I can dl any file from any other url on the site if it doesn't start with f4.
Is that a separate server? What could cause this behavior?

I replied to your private email and attached the file. I think that was 13 hours before the above post. I understand you're also trying to provide data that would help in case someone else has that strange dl problem, but since your post sounds like you still don't have the file I expect the hotmail reply-to address of your email was either wrong or didn't accept attachments.
