1. Device: Philips DVD Player with USB (DVP5992/F7)
2. Type of device: DVD Player
3. Year: 2011
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: Comcast 1067BX3 jp1.3
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? no
6. Still have original remote? yes
7. Checked the file section? yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? yes
9. Partially working setup code? yes (20539)
10. Learning remote question? no
11. Have you tried the JP1 Lookup Tool? yes

My DVD remote has a USB button on it which toggles between a usb drive and an inserted dvd. I have been looking tirelessly for this JP1 EFC code so that I can program it to random unused button on my Comcast remote, but to no avail.

According to this file
Philips DVP5982/37
It is OBC(126) so the EFC would be 00193.

You needed to look for usb. OBC stands for original button code. Sometimes, there are different executors (subroutines) that send the code in different remotes. If so we need to use a tool, like RemoteMaster to translate the OBC to a new EFC for the next executor. In this case no translation was needed.
