Hi
I found on my mac the slingplayer remote skins, including now.spr, and several ones. I think they were downloaded from sling or they came with the slingplayer installation file.

They are at applicaitions->slingplayer->resources->remotes
That is the very place where I put the custom remote spr which I downloaded from here at hifi-remote.

Why can't I select now as my remote skin?
I am watching now tv with custom bin file downloaded from hifi-remote as slingbox no longer official supports nowtv as a device.

any way I can enable now.spr as one of my custom remote skin?

You need to have a special set of BIN files produced that use the correct code for the nowtv.

Are you saying that none of the nowtv devices you have in the setup selection work ?

If not, do any of them at least display the correct remote ?

BTW, this appears to have nothing to do with this thread, so can you please repost it as a new thread under a proper subject heading.

What I meant was that I had to use custom bin by selecting other as model, other as code, and typing C2000 etc to remote control my nowtv. I think previously sling had official supported that I can just chose to select nowhk as the model and all set.

And as such, previously I was able to download the ir code as well as custom remote skin that looks just like the real nowtv remote. Now what I got is the custom remote skin which I downloaded and installed manually from here hifi remote.

Yes, what happens when you use a Custom BIN file like C2000 (built by Rob) or C2010 (built by me) is that the generic skin is shown. To get the NowTV realistic remote you have to use the correct code.

So I ask my questions again

1. Are you saying that none of the nowtv devices you have in the setup selection work ?

2. If not, do any of them at least display the correct remote ?

I cannot find a match in the setup selection.
Therefore, I used the bin file you made and as a result I got the default generic skin.

I am not sure if any of them display the correct remote as I cannot find a match for nowtv.

How did you get the correct remote image to appear before. Tell me EXACTLY so I can reproduce it here.
