Using jp1 as ir blaster?

Is it possible to use jp1 as ir blaster?

Since no-one else answered:

I assume that you mean a device taking an already modulated signal into IR light.
Not viable. Most certainly a JP1 remote (or any other remote) can be rebuilt into an IR blaster, but if you are capable of doing that, buying a few components and solder them together will be just as easy, and probably cheaper. Or buy something from smarthome.
