Doesn't look as though I can do anything. iPMacro is not a recognised Manufacturer in the Logitech Harmony IR Database so I cannot install it on my learning remote.

Have you tried using remotes.slingbox.com ?

The board is from Chengdu haoteng

Post by devank »

Thanks for the reply.. After digging more it looks like the board is made by a Chinese company Chengdu haoteng.
I was trying remotes.slingbox.com with different computers and different browsers but could not move any further then step 3 and when I choose to create a remote nothing happens in step 4.
Any guidance would be very helpful.
Thanks

remotes.slingbox.com has been down for a couple of weeks now. Sling seems to have lost interest in it.

I've alerted Sling to the fact that the site doesn't work any more (they didn't know) so they will look at it.

Sounds like a bit of right hand and left hand. I have notified the moderators of answers.slingbox.com and also another technical team inside Sling, both of whom acknowledged the problem was known about and was being worked on.

I despair of the Company sometimes.

As I understand it this is going to take a LONG time to fix

Do you have the original remote for this device? And if so, could you stand to be without it for a period of time? If you were willing, you could send it to one of us so we can capture the signals and create a bin file.

Most of us are located in the USA but we have some other folks scattered around the globe. Where are you located?

Just an update

Post by devank »

First of all thanks to everyone who volunteered to help. I wanted to send the remote to rob man for getting help on custom remote, this is a busy box and always used so I was not able to.
After trying all combinations I figured by selecting cable as provider and doing custom codes and selecting code 10, I am able to control the box , I can switch on /off, change channels and control volume. That was all I needed. Long live JP1 forums.

I was hoping to look up CBL/0010 and post the results, but I have that code listed.

Hey Alan, would you be able to load that code into your Slingbox and capture the signals from it?
