Hi
I am a newbie to this forum and looking for help!! I have a Sky HD Amstrad DRX890-C box which I am trying to work with my Slingbox Classic. However, the slingbox doesn't have any of the codes for this newer Sky HD box.
I phoned the Slingbox support number and they told me that they can get it to work if I can give them the IR codes in the form of a .bin file.
I'm afraid I am not very technical and this doesn't mean alot to me however a friend recommended this forum to me and said that there are members here could possibly help.
Any (not too technical) advice appreciated!!

I found a set of learned signals for the SkyHD Amstrad drx890

They appear to be more or less the same codes as the drx780. Try these bin files.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.

Apologies for the delay in replying I have been out of the country. MAny thanks for your comprehensive answer and for looking into this for me. I have a realtive coming to visit soon who is better than I am with these things so will ask them to help me follow your suggestions.
