Denon 3312 upgrade using only Denon-K protocol, has all functions from original remote. Zones 2 and 3 not included but you should be able to change the zone assignment function on the function tab to make other zone codes. The ones I checked were the same as zone 1 except had different zone assignment. I learned the OEM remote and all codes are Denon-K, this makes making an upgrade easy, no Denon combo and no helper upgrade. This is a 2012 model receiver, may or may not work on earlier models.

What an eerie coincidence! Last night, I uploaded a Denon-k upgrade for the AVR-xx12 line of receivers as well. Hadn't gotten around to posting about it yet though.

In addition to all the original remote functions, I was able to add a plethora of other functions based on a Denon technical PDF i found online. I successfully spot checked several of them on my AVR-2112, so I feel fairly confident the rest should work. Of course, not all functions are honored by all the xx12 Denon models. |
