How do I edit an .rdf file?

How do I edit an .rdf file?

I want to edit the [DeviceButtons] section of my .rdf file and rename the logical buttons after the special protocols I want to use, but I don't know how to do it. I can't do it in IR directly can I?

The RDFs are regular text files, so you can edit them with Notepad, Wordpad, etc
