I attached a Logic and found the following:

Header mark 4000
Header space 4000
Bit mark 550
One space 1900
Zero space 950

24 Bit code
The last 3 nybbles are the inverse of the first 3.

The template code worked.

Hi,

My TV is a TCL model L32E5390E.
I have used an Arduino with the sample program for the IR library to decode and record the remote's commands.

The program says the protocol is NEC, but the codes appear random. I suspect NEC is derived from the similar header and bit-length.

I'm trying to get RM working under Arch Linux and KDE. So far I've installed gksu to get gksudo, and RMIR.sh starts.

I get the windows for missing maps and RDFs, and allowing choosing folders for them, but then it dies ...

At the top of the page I see "JP1 Remotes" with FAQ, Search, Memberlist, etc under it.

I click on Search. I'm looking for information on the URC-9910, so I put 9910 in the keyword field, leave all other boxes alone, and click the Search button at the bottom.

Problem solved. It was a registry problem. I made sure all the references to the jp1 directory pointed to the new location and the download worked.

I reset to factory this time before loading the Philips file and all is well.

Now that I've learned how to use the power switch on the TV <groan> I have found that Philips_17PF8946-37_LCD.rmdu partially works. It also has the problem described above.

The format change function appears to be assigned to Up, Down, Left, Right, and Enter on the URC-9910.
