JP1 Remotes

yea IR gave me three possible efc's.. which i tried.. the second one in each set was the one that worked.. which are the ones i listed :)

interestingly enough the 0054 codeset does work.. but the buttons are all screwed up :p so will have to move em around a bit... i never tried 0054 till now to ...

I've figured out the three learned keys for the TV as well.. you mentioned someone might recognize if there's a codeset might already exist.. any place I can go search for this? or is there some sort of logic?

Right, I've completed the Samsung SIRU200I codeset. It's been uploaded at yahoo (Samsun_SIRU200I.txt) ..just the TV now Thanks for your help guys! (damn i love this forum )

Thanks for your help! The codeset works almost perfectly.. will learn and add in the 1 or 2 missing ones and post on yahoo.. as for the tv codes.. the learned data is as follows:

Ok you'll never guess what.. but it seems that while I removed the batteries and took the pictures of the hitachi remote.. its broken on me! so yea.. now I only have the power and 1 button which i learned on my 9960 before.. now i cant even try to make my own codeset.. damn this sucks! :p

Just bought myself some new equipment and noticed I dont have any codes for it.. so if someone happens to have these codes it 'be much appreciated :) I'd have a go myself to be honest.. but I dont have a clue where to get started.. I've included some pictures for reference;

Just wondered if anyone had a codeset for the Kiss DP-500 DivX compatible DVD player.. Doesnt seem like there's any on the Yahoo! site or here and my URC-9960 doesn't have a codeset built into it. Anways much appreciated if you do, or if not.. do you have any tips on how to start creating my own ...

Its actually a HTS and I think i've found a codeset I can modify in the Yahoo! files. the DAVS300 seems to be pretty similar - the annoying thing is that the original remote uses two protocols (from what i can gather) but getting there...

Has anyone managed to find up/down sony keys? or am i just stupid :p

hmm seems like i'm getting the hang of these efc codes... keep you updated.. no-one go out of their way for now would be good if someone made a sony code to efc code convertor btw.. (based on the appropriate set, etc)

Update: em.. yea.. the code i'm currently using is not 0503 :p its 0533 hehe :p

Hey.. I've looked at the various posts on sony codes, etc, but have not come across one that has all/or most of the functions of the original remote. There's some mentioning to http://www.hifi-remote.com/sony/ - is there any way I can modify an existing keymapmaster in accordance with those codes ...

Thanks for your help rob. I've tried the code upgrade without the extender but it doesnt seem to work.. maybe there's a slight variation in model number that makes it incompatible. Any clues on how to capture these codes in the first place? I'd spend some time on creating a codeset for it but have ...
