Well, I'm sorry to report it didn't work for me as expected. i.e. there is no error in code, because it works. But it works exactly as built-in 0775 device. I've tried other values for that byte as well.

Would it be possible to upgrade the little 2K EEPROM in a RS 15-1994 to a larger one, say 4K or 8K? I know that this would require a special extender and rdf, but other than that, is there any technical reason why it shouldn't work?
