Thanks a lot, Scott. I had overlooked this one.
When I said studying, I meant studying. I still have to try and learn how this works...
I will probably have to ask a few questions later on.

ToadTog and URC-6800/7800
I would like to create ToadTog commands in order to make my 2700/4700 ExpressVu satellite receivers and my Sanyo VHR-H608 VCR turn off with my power off macro (and on/off in other device change macros). I know for sure that there are no discrete on/off codes for the ExpressVu receivers and I was not ...

Interfaces working, 6-pin header in place, buttons repaired
After a few unsuccessful attempts, I was finally able to do a reasonable job at soldering a 6-pin header in one of my URC-6800. I must admit that I had done quite a mess in this one, even cutting one of the traces leading to a JP1 hole. I finally got a 6-pin header well soldered and I was able to ...

ExpressVu/Dish signal duration
I was finally able to solder the six pin JP1 header in my URC-6800 and my JP1 cable works well.
With the 7800ex2 extender and upgrades for my devices, I am able to get pretty much what I want, except for one thing. My 2700 ExpressVu SAT receiver does not power on with my power on macro. Now this is ...

Wow!
I am considering getting the URC-9960 and just read this thread from the beginning (along with the extender readme file). This is just great! While I still have more homework to do on this (understanding the extender), I can say that the work you guys did is making me lean towards this remote ...

Macro Nesting
I have done research on a few terms that I saw and did not understand in some extenders readme files, but one remains: macro nesting.
What does that mean? Is it the ability for a macro to contain another macro?
Thanks
François

Kameleon URC-9960 info

I am shopping for a new remote. I was attracted to the OFA URC-9960, but reading some of the reviews and posts on it, I am not sure it has the flexibility I want (I have a *some* experience with programming upgrades into a URC-6800). I downloaded and read the manual, but the OFA remotes can ...

Remove an extender without JP1?
I am having all sorts of problems with my JP1 setup (loose 6 pin header, etc.). In short, there is no response from my old URC-6800. Is it possible to reset the remote without JP1?
If not, it is not that bad, I was planning to change the thing anyway.
Thanks
François
