Moving from 8811 to 8910
Looking for suggestions on how to transfer my programming from my 8811 to my new 8910. I already know it can't just be downloaded from the 8811 and uploaded to the 8910.
I thought I read somewhere about opening 2 instances of IR?

Is my new 8910 bad?
I have had my second 8811 for some time now and it still works great. I programmed the original a LONG time ago and have pretty much forgotten how I did it. In Bestbuy yesterday I found an openbox 8910 for $24 so I bought it. I thought that I could transfer my programming from my 8811 to the 8910 ...

Some more good news, being the kind of person that never throws anything away, it looks like I still have the files I created when I first programed my remote, so it looks like I will be in good shape.

One For All Dead
You folks helped me program my One For All remote. When I finished with it, it wasn't perfect, but it was VERY good. I have used it a LONG time. Yesterday, my wife spilled water on it, and didn't bother to tell me. I tried to use it and found water dripping out of it. Figured I could take it apart ...

The model of the JVC receiver is the RX-770V. I tried the text file suggested above and found that many of the buttons work properly but several do not. The receiver that this was created for must be a little nicer than mine (a few more options). As I study the RM spreadsheet it becomes more and ...

You guys are good trouble shooters. I was holding both remotes in my hands. I wasn't paying a lot of attention to when I pushed the OEM button or how long I was holding it. I'll redo all the "learns" tonight on a flat table, with fresh batteries, and not hold the button on the OEM to long. Then I'll ...

Need help with JVC learned buttons
I've been able to use the KM spreadsheet and the IR program to create two new codes. One for my Liteon DVD player and one for my Global Cable box, but I'm having trouble with my JVC receiver. I'll upload the IR file to the Yahoo group. If someone could take a look and offer some suggestions I sure ...

Partial success. I was able to create an Upgrade code for my Global Cable box. BUT (and there is always a but) the one I created for my Liteon DVD 2002 player doesn't work. The remote learned everything ok, but IR lists a Sub-Device. I thought I read that KM has had the ability to add a sub-device ...
