I am using NEC1:4, I have setup my own device from learning its remote.

The 105 works for SVIDEO for me, but when the tv is off, that button becomes power/on to component input, likewise 253 sets the tv to component, unless its off which the tv powers to s-video? thats rather odd..

Be advised that certain EFC codes may send your TV into a Service or Maintenance Mode, :oops: from which you may be unable to extricate yourself without altering system settings that you have no knowledge of how to restore. :twisted:

How high do EFC codes go?

subject says it all, I am trying to find the other codes for my LG Flatron TV. But I want to know what the maximum efc code is - is it 255 or can I go higher?

Customising Remote Keymap in keymap-master

I have a remote, its a "Total Control Platnum Universal Remote 6 function" Their product code is TPC-6 and it appears in IR as a URC-7560, the remote itself has the code on a label URC-11-4160B00

The key layout is similar but not the same as the URC-7560 in keymap-master..

I was wondering how to ...

I didnt find any on/off codes, there didnt seem to be anything new, some of the codes appear to repeat what already is there, a couple of others were hard to disconcern their exact function..

Did you create an upgrade with protocol 00BB or KeyMoves with AUDIO/0286, or what? I thought we hadn't yet provided quite enough info for a non expert to proceed to a working remote.

I loaded the file to the keymap-master.xls and used Audio 0400 (just so its not confused).. and mapped the keys I ...

I have just uploaded to dagnosis Teac-checksum-all-buttons.xls which has the codes for all 58 buttons. This might help in checking the decode.

Or maybe not - how does one find the binary data as used in the spreadsheet - or should I just wait until the new decodeir.dll is out?

I have uploaded the file to the diagnosis area (Universal with dvb300 - 2.txt).

I looked there and can't find that file.

Aaa poop, I copied the wrong filename into the post, look for
teac-DV-D990 - 2.txt

It's interesting looking at how these are decoded.. I wouldn't bust your guts on it as ...

I have just brought and tried another fresh set of batteries in the remote, the codes are not decoded completly either, though they look a little more uniform. I have uploaded the file to the diagnosis area (Universal with dvb300 - 2.txt).

The remote that these are learned on seems to work these ...

I have tried new batteries, and have had no problem learning 4 other remotes, followed the instructions in the manual and the learned keys do work (just the remotes 25 learned codes is not eough)..
