Don't hold your breath waiting for that extender. It has been over three months since Nils was "very close". I gave up and moved the RF puck from my 9960 B01 to one of my old 9960 B00 remotes. I know Nils has other things to do but I got tired of waiting.

Do you have a jp1 cable? If so, you could load the 8910 extender and setup the macro for Home_Theater to DEV_TV; SET_OTHER_KEYS.

Maybe you should send Nils, the Kameleon's Guru a case of Peroni. The last thread I read was on Aug 5th when Nils was "very close" but was having “stability” problems.

I meant the 8910 not the 8810.

I recommend the URC Kameleon 8. The original (9960B00) does have an extender but I don't think the B00 is available now. The newer version (9960B01) is JP1 also but no extender exists.

You may want to look at the URC 8810 or 9910 (RF version of 8810). They both have LCD displays but no PVR buttons.

I've been trying to reassign the FAV button on this remote without using an extender.
The 9960 B00 extender doesn't work on 9960 B01 anyway (Upgrade pointer at address $0000 points to #FFFF, which is out of range)

The special-protocols-v1.17c.xls spreadsheet does not have a selection for 9960 ...
