I have added to the original post. I'm really looking for help from a Bose guy who can help me set the unit to IR. Going into setup on the Bose unit, and changing the remote function to IR (From RF) doesn't work for me????

I have been searching through the forum, and have downloaded IR and RDF's. I contacted One For All, and they updated the remote via the phone w/ a Bose code. Still didn't work? I then Successfully hooked up my 8910 with the cable, and IR reads everything correctly. Question: Do I need the 9910 w/ RF ...
