Thanks for your quick reply. Regarding the VCR code, I double checked, and found that my 8811 is using the 0526 code, which, as you mentioned, is not available for my remote. Is there a fundamental difference between the URC-6131 and the URC-8811 that would cause the 6131 to not work with the same builtin codes that the 8811 uses?
