I found this site that can activate the usb port on an lg lcd tv using a smartphone. Sadly the smartphone software is free for only 10 days but if i can use a one for all remote it will last for ever(hopefully). As i don't have a smartphone without infra red the one for all remote is my only option ...

I got a one for all 8206 i live in the UK but some of the units i have i cant get going with any codes. Ive updated using the downloads from the ofa site but still nothing. If i bought a usb cable from you how easy is it to program up he remote with codes to get everything going ok?
