I tested out the file.

A few things were messed up.

Does this help? Or should I just post the upgrade?

Thanks. That is cool that you made the upgrade.

Media players is definitely where it belongs. I ordered one of these things and I'll test out the upgrade.

Thanks!!

It just cycles through all the inputs like mashing the button on the device itself.

Yep.

I just checked it again. All codes work with this switch. Input 5 is 13.

I was surprised to find the selector code and it tricked me for a minute because the button doesn't exist on the remote.

HDMI 5 Port Switch ST01 Switch

I am about to upload this thing to the file section. It was a pain to make it work so hopefully it will help someone.

I bought it on eBay.

I was going to post a picture of it but I don't see how to upload images.

I bricked one of those remotes a couple of years ago. I accidentally flipped the JP1 interface around and it froze the remote. If I flipped it back the correct way it came back to life.

One of these remotes wouldn't come back to life no matter what I tried and I gave up.

The Sanyo remote is missing the 4 bottom buttons.

I checked out the above "unavailables". I was looking for that elusive direct to USB discrete, but was unsuccessful. I did determine 2 of them though.

110=SRS

and

121 took me to "my contents" same as 140 "Media P"

I was trying to find a discrete that goes directly to a USB input. Looks like it might not exist.

ps. yes, "not available" means it is doing something, but you are not in the correct mode.

Glad you got it going. I guess I never considered having macros call themselves since that can really be bad when you use an extender. I guess it's harmless on an unextended remote like you said. But how do you simply change device modes on the remote without running your macro?

I almost never ...

Here's the detail of the behavior of the RCRP05B.

In summary: memory address $022 ($622) is critical to useful remote function. It needs a value of $0F. Other values mess it up; $FF routes the Channel group of buttons to the TV device, and no other buttons except Devices and Setup give any ...
