Copying Macros and Key moves in IR

Ok, 23 views and no replys. :? Either the question, has no answer, is really really dumb, or isn't well formulated. I'll rephrase.

Is there a way to copy key moves or macros from 1 IR text (save format) file to another?

Hi all

I finally have my remote (a 1994) more or less controlling my ...

Re: Expressvu upgrade

First I want to verify my theory that IR.EXE still can't find DecodeIR.dll:

Select "about" from the Help menu. It will display the version of IR.EXE and if it can find the DLL it will also display the version of DecodeIR.

If it can't find the DLL, you may need help from someone else. I can't ...

Tommy, when you load one of these upgrades into KM, don't change any of the device code settings, just change the selected remote to your remote, and re-arrange the buttons as you see fit. Then load it and try it.

Well, I did what you suggested and it works. I had tried it earlier and it didn'y ...

Re: Expressvu upgrade

1) Make sure you have an up to date copy of IR.EXE
2) Make sure you have an up to date copy of DecodeIR.dll in a directory where IR.EXE can find it. If you don't know the right system directory for shared application DLLs, just put the DLL in the same directory as IR.EXE.

Expressvu upgrade

Well, I think I have progressed from newbie to novice. My jp1 interface now works reliably and I've found upgrades for a couple of my devices and I'm now working on my expressvu PVR 5800. Here's where I'm puzzled.

The device responds to setup code 775 (cbl/sat) but doesn't include all keys I want ...

:D I tried the suggestions, to no avail. So I went back to first principles, checking all the joints and wiring connections. Finally, I realized I had the diode in backwards. Jeeeeezzz I hate hardware.

Now the hardware works, what the hell are all these numbers??? LOL.

The resistors are 1k and the diode is the 5818.

Hlp with newbie hardware problem

My apologies for the length of this post. I simply wanted to tell you what I have done to date, just to shortcut any suggestions to do things I've already done. Of course, if I've missed something obvious, suggest away - I'm desperate (and frustrated )

Here's the situation

1. I built the simple ...
