close thread problem solved, suppose to be PL but my blaster version says 2 but it works thanks

i cant take this anymore....ive tried this for hours.....im not the smartest in computers. but i exported my coolsat bin to the SBAV folder. which was named S1554 i go setup my slingbox. select a brand then select other, i see nothing but Code 1 Code 2 Code 3, i manually try and enter S1554 but it ...

same problem here for me in Coolsat receiver. It cant even see the code i created , doesnt give me the choice to pick. i even renamed the one i created to the one that was available still didnt work.

so i select Sat receiver, select any brand as a skin, than hit other,
shows ,me what available codes but mine is not in there...?? Ill paypal anyone 10 bux if they get this goin for me thanks

it says to save to that folder, S1554_JU.bin is the name of it...it says to edit
SABV.cfg file ? wheres that or is it the bin that i saved as S1554_JU?

ok ive been reading and reading. got much help to finally get RM installed correctly. how do I get RM to recognize the coolsat txt file i dloaded? ive read the tutorial over and over i might be missing something please direct me. thanks again.

i must be a moron, i extracted all from what i dloaded here http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=1948
still so no rdfs found. then it gives me a choice to browse for it but nothing is in there. but when i open the folder manually after i close everything i see all the rdfs ...

yea i know it has the link but is there a certain one? im setting up for a slingbox. thanks for the help.

ok dled java, read the readme.html in the zip of RM. says to double click setup.bat did that then it says You want to add something to registry and i hit yes? then its says no RDF files found..im guessing i need to download RDFs but which ones?

i will try the java link thanks......so when I get RM running the update file i download in text format will be recognized by RM right? then i do the rest of the steps in the tutorial correct? when you edit the file in notepad it says to "add" so were not removing or replacing anything right? thanks ...

hello this might be the newbiest post but i download latest RM extracted it to a folder tried to install. the dos window pops up and disappears....
now is Key and RM the same type of prog, they both do the same thing? Which one would be more user friendly to use with the Slingbox.
