JP1 Remotes

Hi all,

I've been researching X10 to control my gas fireplace. I am pretty sure all I need are these two items. Can someone please verify for me?

RS114 Appliance Switch 20 Amp

Currently I have a 8010w JP1 remote and the fireplace is gas and on a regular on/off type light switch.

I just finished making my first JP1 cable. It won't win any beauty contest but it is functional.
To make my 6pin connecter I used a pvc pipe saw I had laying around. Just saw thru the 4 hole and it works pretty well.

Nice got everything working. I upgraded setup code 0039 for my RCVR and used the discrete codes 026/022. They also worked for the CD player. Everything is using discrete codes now except for the DVD player.

To fix the DVD player issue I just took it out of the Phantom 4 macro. And for the RCVR ...

I found these two discrete codes for technics RCVR's at remote centeral. It it possible to use these in IR/KM somehow?

Made a lot of headway today. Got the extender mostly working. These are the codes I use:
Using discrete codes for tv and vcr, toadtog for everything else
TV=0047
VCR=0060
DVD=0503
AUX =0522
CD=1303
RCVR=1308

I tried that and it works. Now I'm playing around with the extender. I am using it to change vol for the cd player

Great site, just found JP-1 around a week ago and I'm liking it so far. I just got
my JP-1 cable in and managed to create my first upgraded setup code :)
