No protocol information is shown in IR so I suspect its an unknown protocol. I'm not sure how to go about building a new ...

Windows XP has a feature which moves icons into a "Unused Desktop shortcuts" folder on the desktop if they aren't used for a period of time. Maybe check in there and see if it's available that way.

If you click the "File Section" that appears near the top of each page you'll see a section called "Diagnostics Area" which points to

RM v1.63 runs but doesn't start (error log produced)

I'm trying to run RM for the first time but its not starting (no screen displayed). I have noticed an rmaster.err file is being produced. Last few lines of its output are as follows:

Generating deviceImporter for protocol pid: 01 9B
Generating deviceImporter for protocol pid: 01 A4

Hi Rob,

I'd like to purchase a URC-8910 which I understand would cost:

$20 Remote
$9.50 Shipping (to New Zealand)
$1.50 Paypal CC Surcharge

$31.00 Total.

Is that correct?

Thanks

Just wanted to say a big "Thank you" to Tommy and everyone else who has worked on the JP1.2 interface and software. After building the new interface I was able to download from my Kameleon 8206 last night! I was gutted to find this remote wasn't originally compatible with the tools available last ...

Thanks Capn Trips. I had been watching that thread but don't recall it giving details on the cable. I'll pop off and review the whole thread.

Wow - support for jp1.2 is exciting (I've got a Kameleon URC8206 so have been hanging out for this)! However, I understood from previous discussions that a different cable is required for use with jp1.2. Is this still the case? I've not been able to find any posts relating to the new cable hardware ...

Having difficulty using the forum search

I'm having trouble trying to search for "jp1.2" in the forum. I keep getting 1000's of results most of which refer to jp1 rather than jp1.2. I think I must be doing a partial search rather than a full match. I'd appreciate any pointers. Thanks!
