In the first post it is mentioned it is RF capable but it looks like it's not.
It is the C3 that has RF capabilities.

My "new" well it's 3 years old by now doesn't have a parallel port anymore.

I have the old parallel EEPROM interface and if i can get it to work with a USB to Parallel Printer IEEE 1284 DB25 25 pin adapter cable that would be great since they only cost about € 2,50 eacht with shipping included ...

Have been fidling around with the Upgrade file for URC8910 for Pinnacle Show Center 1000G and i think i found the problem.

I don't have the Showcenter OEM remote and in the upgrade the "Delete" and the "A/a/Num" keys seem to be missing in the upgrade so i can't configure a server since the damned ...

I have learned from a upc Oem UEI remote on my 15-1994 which i abtained for this kinda purposes and after some initial problems with a out of date DecodeIR.dll it seems they all use the Nokia32 protocol.
However in KM or RM i can only select Nokia quad :? :cry:

at first i had a a gap between the EEprom and a solderpad but after someone with better eyes had a look at it, it seems to work fine.
Pitty though that i got a lot of upgrade room but didn't get any macro space which was wat i could use.
Only 3 free for macro/keymoves compared to 1154 ...

Well, got myself a 7541 remote without the JP1 pins and EEPROM.

I am a noob when it comes to soldering but i am learning so please forgive me my beginner's questions.

I have put in an 24C16 but it doesn't work yet (hope it will sometime in the near future :roll:)

Here is one possible solution (mentioned in the comments for that file)
you can split this upgrade into 4.
The combination of protocol + sub-device which
is used in most buttons (I believe it's NEC1+109) will be your device upgrade.
Remaining buttons you can define as keymoves.

But do i understand it correctly that normally the direct av switch options should work?

Can it be the case that direct switching to AV channels will not work because the tv just doesn't support it?

My Phillips tv does work with the 0556 and 0054 preset codes but the direct AV switching options don't work at all.
Even with downloaded upgraded presets it's a no go.

For as far as tthe Xbox problem is concerned, it's solved.
I guess the 0522 wasn't build into the remote or it is lost if that's possible.

Which is exactly the right device upgrade.
It looks like i am having problems with the Device Combiner protocol.

Is it correct to say it's an RM compatibility problem ...
