OK Rob, something happened here, I sent you a response but it did not get entered, so here goes again.
I believe that we now probably have the complete set of OBCs for this TV, and it's nice to have found a few functions that aren't on the original remote (ie, DISPLAY, SLEEP, CH+, CH-, SAP and of ...

Sorry for the delay and for some mistakes I made. I am getting pretty confused from all of the codes.
I apparently did not do something right on one of the tests and have redone it. I did not keep track of the IR files.
This is the following code:
Upgrade Code 0 = 2F D2 (VCR/2002) Emerson M1325R TV ...

Rob, I have too many things going on here and did not answer one of your questions.
Actually, the fact that some of those buttons in the URC-6131 did something, makes me wonder about the OBCs over 31. My guess is that they're all just wrap-around codes, but you never know, so here's another test ...

Rob, I have checked again and get same results. I loaded both the test code and the complete code from your earlier messages along with the protocol from there. So a mystery?
Test 3 should be a volume command and is Vol+
Test 4 should be a volume command (vol - I assume) and is mute.
Test 9 is Mute ...

Thanks for the offer Rob. I keep getting multiple entries for some codes. Have good batteries and doing in partially dark room and trying various distances. I can clean up some but not all at one time. If it is a problem, I can try for cleaner copies and do them in small batches. Some of the codes ...

Unknown Code for Very Old Emerson TV
I would like to control this TV in my workshop. It is a very old Emerson 13". It is so old that the remote does not have a number pad to select channels but has keys 1-16 to select a programmed channel-got to be 20-25 years old. It works though and I use it with a satelite receiver and it does well ...

Thanks everyone for your help. I am always amazed at the willingness of the experts in this forum to help. Unfortunately I had no luck. I tried the non 5th bit codes first and then just tried the whole range from 1-255. I only tried turning the recorder on. So it is possible there is a discrete off ...

Discrete Codes for Cyberhome 1600 DVD Recorder
I have just gotten one of these and would like to use discrete power codes. I dont find them on any device upgrades and no luck trying pronto ccf codes. Next step is to try a bunch of codes. If I shut it down with a code, I can easily take it back at this point. I need a strategy. If I am going to ...
