Hi, feelfree

Please do a raw download as follows. Connect the remote, open RMIR, open the "Remote" menu and click on "Raw download". In the window that opens, click the "Download" button and when the download finishes, click "Save". Accept the default filename, which I expect to be "8008.ir". Post ...

Downloading from remote seems to work - all devices, activities, etc. appear in RM IR. :-)
But the "DOWNLOADING ..." message in RM IR just never disappears. Remote says "initializing ...

UEI has implemented a custom communication protocol which we have reverse engineered and can use to read and write to the remote's memory. As soon as possible, we will get the JP1 tools updated so they can also talk to the remotes.
Rob,
congratulations to this major achievement!
Will you share ...

If I understand you correctly, you are saying that you have created an upgrade using the regular RC-5 protocol (as opposed to the special protocol which is the subject of this thread) and it works, but there are certain buttons (such as scroll up/down) that do not repeat when you hold the button ...

Hi,

I own a Harddisk-Music-Server called Hermstedt Hifidelio which is sold in the US as an OEM under the "Olive" label. The device itself is absolutely fantastic, but its remote is not.
Until yesterday nobody was able to use any remote (OneForAll, Pronto) with the Hifidelio without problems. The ...
