yes, it was db-08, i wondered what that meant.

i've really looked at the .rdf files directly (i'm still a newbie at this) but i'll see what i can do.

I successfully learned to other keys while in Home Theater mode.


So now what? Does the .rdf file for the 9910/8910 need to be changed?

can someone point me to where I can find documentation on TOADTOG? someone referred to a ToadTog readme somewhere but I can't seem to locate any documentation for a beginner.

RF link help 2117 and 9910

alright, so i have BOTH a 15-2117 and a OFA 9910 and I can't seem to get any results with either of the RF links.

is there some trick to getting these things to work?? i can see the emitter in the link going off but none of my devices seem to work. does the RF link need to be placed right in front ...

but then everytime i want to use those buttons in theater mode i have to select the tuner first? there must be a better way.

before i got the JP1 cable, i actually learned those keys from my original remote to the L1-L4 keys with home theater as the "device" and it worked. it didn't mater what ...

ok, another question. there are four devices i mainly use on my receiver and i'd like to program them to the L1-L4 keys when in THEATER mode.

What's the best way to do this? Keymover mode in the remote won't let me choose the Home Theater key as the destination device.

argghhhh..

ok so i can manually change the setup code for the receiver device to 0135, upload it to the remote and i see the change take place, the remote now shows 0135 as the receiver setup code.

so i copy the device upgrade from the keymap master spread sheet to IR, set it to receiver, and ...

the receiver device setup code has NEVER changed when I upload to the remote.

the new device upgrade code is 1135, is this supposed to show up on the lcd for the device code?

it was automatically set to tuner. i've tried amp as well with no luck.
