Thanks guys - I got it now.

I didn't realize it was just like presseing a manual key sequence, so that I had to "press" the device select (like TV) and then all the keys after that use the TV functions. Got it working now.

Q: Is using phantom keys for device functions that aren't on a real key ...

Macros - is there a beginners how-to procedure

Is there a Dummies guide for macros?

Or a manual specifically for IR?

Specifically, when I call up the macro tab in IR, I see a select for the Bound Key and ...

File posted to Yahoo JP1 diagnosis area

I posted the file named: urc9962_2003-12-30_a.txt.

This contains 4 device upgrades, one of which required a protocol to be added (I think the "AUDIO" off hand).

I looked a the Devices tab of IR, and the EFCs for the VCR all list "* (use hex)" after the EFC code. The EFC codes themselves appear ...

I was originally going to attach the files to the post, but I don't see any obvious way to do this.

BTW: Would you prefer KM ot RM files?

Thanks

Panasonic VCR codes are "off"

When I try and set up for my Panasonic PV7664 VCR, the codes I'm using appear to be be "off" in function. For example when I press "3" button, the number "5" is selected. When I press "8" I get a power toggle.

I've used both KM and RM to generate the files, to the same effect. I have got numerous ...

Touch screen remotes with JP1 connector?

I was wondering if there is a list of JP1 compatable remotes that have a touch screen interface.

Is this even a reasonable request?

Thanks,

Denon RC-770 Remote questions

Hi, Wondering a few things about this remote;

I have a Denon AVR-3300 and would like a "factory like' remote for it. I have a RCU-810, bu it's not quite the same for advanced functions. So I'm ...
