JP1 Remotes

OK, I figured I'd need to build new upgrades for my learned codes ... I was hoping I could get around that some way ... yes, I'm that lazy! I'll start working on the extender 3 ... thanks Capn, Mark and gfb for all your help.

OK, so I guess that leaves me with using an extender. If I use the extender, do I lose my existing learned codes? I'm basically just avoiding the extender because I was hoping I could simply replace the tivo with the HR20 code and leave everything else in place. I really want to use that fav/scan ...

This conversation is beyond my level of jp1 knowledge. The remote file with the tivo uses the fav/scan button for the 'now playing' function on the tivo. I promise it works ... it is not just scanning through channels. Does it work because its built into the 'hacked' tivo mapping? Does anybody else ...
