JP1 Remotes

I downloaded and installed IR 8.03, and tested it with JP1.2 and JP.1 with the adapter, and both worked great. Thanks Rob for the help!

I have a new PC and am now using Tommy Tyler USB cable with the JP1 adapter. I have succesfully used the cable (without adapter) with a URC 10820 JP1.2 remote. With the adapter on a JP1 remote I can download from the remote, but when I upload the same file to the remote I get the "division by zero ...

I am using the cable with the JP1 adapter. The cable works -- I can download from the remotes (RS15-2117 and URC 9910). But when I try to upoad I consistantly get the error message: "division by zero".

Any suggestions about what to do?

Will the cable and adpter work in 64 bit Windows 7>

This happens to me fairly often. I just unplug and replug the cable each time it happens until it finally works. Sometimes I have to try it several times. I have Auto Detect selected on the General section of IR.
